ENERGY-EFFICIENT, RENEWABLE-ENERGY POWER PLANTS
Co-Generation (CoGen) is a system that produces a combination of heat and power (CHP) by utilizing the by-product (i.e. flue gas) from electricity generation. The electricity generated can minimize/eliminate the dependence on electricity from the grid which costs higher in most cases. At
the same time, the heat garnered can be used as heat source to produce steam / hot water / hot oil
for plant uses, via Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) / Heat Recovery Hot Water (HRHW) / Heat
Recovery Hot Oil (HRHO). The fuel source of the CoGen system can be natural gas, biogas, syngas
from gasifying, biomass, etc.
We specialise in :

Gas Turbine Generator (GTG): A gas turbine is a combustion engine that can convert primary source of fuel such as natural gas to mechanical energy. This energy then drives a generator to produce electrical energy.
Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG): A set of heat exchangers that can recover heat from exhaust (i.e. flue gas from turbine) and convert it into a useful form, such as steam. Also, it can be used as heat source in Heat Recovery Hot Water (HRHW) system and Heat Recovery Hot Oil (HRHO) system.
Supplementary Burner: A supplementary burner provides supplementary firing to increase the heat energy of a gas turbine’s exhaust, making it possible to increase the output of a downstream HRSG. This raises the efficiency of cogeneration.
Bypass Stack: A diverter damper in the bypass stack is designed to divert the flue gases from the HRSG to isolate the HRSG completely from the gas turbine allowing inspection and maintenance to be performed. Also, It provides greater savings in operation cost when power demand is low.
