KAWAN® acquired another 2 acres piece of land and built fabrication yard with built-up area of 44,907ft2 (4,172m2).

KAWAN® is authorized to apply "NB" Mark and register Boilers, Pressure Vessels or Other Pressure Retaining Items with The National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors in accordance with its provisions. The scope of Authorization is limited to items manufactured in accordance with ASME 'U', 'S' & 'H' Stamp.

One of KAWAN® products - Boiler is accredited by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as authorized to use the indicated symbol "H" and “S". All the heating boilers and power boiler are manufactured and tested in accordance with the A.S.M.E. Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

KAWAN® had obtained Manufacturing License for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Thermal Fluid Heaters, Boilers, Steam Generators, Economizers and Calorifiers, Deaerators, Waste Water Equipment and Process Equipment by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia (MITI) under The Industrual Coordination Act, 1975.

KAWAN® had obtained certification of ISO 9001:2008 on the area of design, manufacturing, on-site commissioning of pressure vessel, heat exchanger system, water & waste treatment equipment and process equipment.
