About Us

Incorporated in 1996, Kawan Engineering Sdn. Bhd. has evolved from a general fabricator in a technology driven equipment and steel maker in Malaysia.

 

As a licensed fabricator of Unfired Pressure Vessels by the Departmental of Safety & Health (DOSH) Malaysia and also accredited by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as authorized “U” Stamp pressure vessel maker, pressure vessels are manufactured and tested by us in accordance with the A.S.M.E. Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

We are also a license contractor for LPG/LNG piping, accredited by the DOSH and the Department of Electricity and Gas Supply (JBEG).

 

In 2008, Kawan and Aquaheat Pte Ltd, New Zealand has entered a technical transfer program whereby intellectual properties and machinery of Aquaheat are acquired by Kawan for it to produce Thermal Oil Heaters, Hot Water Boilers, Air Pre-heaters and Steam Generators.

Aided by the certification of International Standard: ISO 9001: 2000 for the Design, Manufacturing and On-site Commissioning of Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchange System, Water & Waste Treatment and Process Equipment, Kawan has since providing a wide range of quality engineering products and services to meet the needs of various industries.

Operating in a factory lot of 2 acres, with an engineering crew of approximately 25 experienced and dynamic personnel, we customized design, fabricate, install and commission plants/ systems. Our annual sales turnover was recorded at RM 70 million in 2007.

Our products are now running in countries like Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Saudi Arabia, Africa, Germany etc.
